PALM SPRINGS TRAVEL GUIDE
Our Palm Springs collection was inspired not just by the location itself but by the lifestyle it has come to represent. It’s a tribute to the days when Lauren Bacall and Frank Sinatra would escape to the desert oasis as it became Hollywood’s go-to. Imagining ourselves poolside in Slim Aarons’ famous scene there, martini in hand, this collection is a recreation of the vintage jet-set life that put Palm Springs on the map.
INSPIRATION
This collection includes geometrics that are nods to the linear architecture and shaker style doors while weaving in more literal representations: abstract brush strokes acknowledging the artists it attracts and a painted cactus print.
When designing this collection I poured through articles about the history of the doors, crazy Hollywood gossip stories dating back to the 1920’s and photography from then to now. I knew as the collection came together I wanted to shoot on location to really invoke all that this collection represents.
As summer begins we hope this collection transports you into the Palm Springs mindset, no matter where you are, where life is sunny, generally poolside and the drinks and the friends keep coming.

LIVE LIKE A LOCAL
I also knew I wanted Kelly Lee of Kellygolightly to be a part of it. Today Kelly represents the modern Palm Springs life in all its laid back glamour. We shot for two days indoors and out, journeying through neighborhoods for the best doors, and nearly blew away at the wind mills. We ended in front of the famous desert art exhibition, Desert X.
